It's that time of year again . . . the weather is turning, the leaves are changing color, and the pumpkins are growing! When you think of Fall, do you picture apple cider, hay rides, and caramel apples? How about a corn maze, launching pumpkins through the air, and wandering through the field in search of the perfect pumpkin? If this is your vision of harvest, then you must come visit Willamette Valley Fruit Company starting October 1st! Our harvest activities run Thursday and Friday 1pm-6pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm through Halloween! Our stores remains open Monday-Friday 7-6 and Saturday 9-6. Please stop in and see us! permalink

Hi Friends!Pick-Your-Own is over for this summer! The Blueberries and Marionberries were great this year, with good size and flavor. But they have not held up well in the 100+ degree weather that we've had over the past week. It was fun to meet many of you, and find you enjoying a connection with the fruit and the farm. Hope to see you out in the fields next year!
Sincerely,
Jeff and the Team

To all of our familes, friends and volunteers who helped during our grand opening events, we thank you! It was a great 3 days and we couldn't have done it without you. Here are a few highlights:
Drew Carney from KGW's Out & About came out the morning of June 11th for some pie-making lessons from our in-house guru Marlene Gunderson.
Original founders/owners of Willamette Valley Fruit Company, Gerald and Carolyn Roth, joined by Members and Ambassadors of the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce during the new store's official ribbon cutting ceremony.
Owner Jeff Roth rounds up another group to take on a blueberry field farm tour.
